DVRP’s three primary programs work towards achieving our mission.
DVRP provides free and confidential services, in over 20 Asian/Pacific Islander languages. We aim to improve the safety of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, regardless of income level, immigration status or English fluency.
Ending domestic violence and sexual assault requires education, commitment, training and collaboration. We organize a diverse array of activities to further this awareness including distribution of translated informational materials and organizing brown bag discussions. We also facilitate community dialogues with local Asian/Pacific Islander organizations and communities.
We provide cultural competency and domestic violence trainings to service providers, law enforcement and Asian/Pacific Islander community-based organizations.
